Q: Do I need to have a lawn for the stork sign installation?

Yes,  for a stork installation you must have a yard! To ensure the proper and safe display of our signs, we require a traditional residential lawn. This means an open space of grass with unobstructed soil. Unfortunately, we can’t install signs in areas covered with rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, or thick landscaping. We strive to avoid any risk of impeding access to these areas and potential fines or damage to our signs. Our skilled team will drive a stake 10 inches into the ground to ensure the sign is securely and properly installed. If you have any queries about installation or location requirements, don’t hesitate to reach out to us! Don’t have a yard? No problem! We can still celebrate with a customized “bundle only” that we can hang on your front door.

Q: When should I reserve a stork?

We’re excited to assist with your birth announcement signs! Reservations are accepted for scheduled births or events. For scheduled deliveries, ensure you book in advance to secure your preferred delivery date. If it’s a surprise arrival, don’t worry! Give us a call as soon as the baby is born, and we’ll strive to have the stork sign rental up within 24 hours under normal circumstances. If you’ve completed our form, expect a call to confirm your order and facilitate payment over the phone. If you haven’t heard from us, feel free to call at 440-655-7264 during our operating hours from 9am-5pm. We’re eager to help you celebrate your new bundle of joy!

Q: How long can I rent the Stork Sign for?

For birth announcements, you can rent our stork sign for a full 5 days, allowing your family and friends to revel in the excitement. If you’re planning an event, opt for a one-day rental to add a touch of whimsy to your celebration. Reach out to us for more information on renting a stork yard sign for your precious newborn. Q: Where will you install the newborn announcement sign in the yard?

We want to ensure your stork sign is perfectly placed for all your special moments and photo opportunities. By default, we stake the sign in the front yard, easily visible from the road. If you have a specific location in mind, let us know before we arrive, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Your satisfaction with the placement of your stork sign is our top priority!

Q: How do I place my order? How do I pay for your service?

Placing an order for our adorable stork sign rentals is super easy! You can share all the important details with us by filling out our online form, giving us a call, sending us a text at 440-655-7264, or dropping us an email at hello@lakesidestorksandco.com. We offer multiple payment options, including credit card over the phone, Square, Venmo, or Zelle. Once payment is completed, we’ll reserve your sign and get it ready for delivery. Just remember, full payment must be received before we can schedule your sign delivery.

Q: What is your service area?

Our base is in Shorewood, and we offer free delivery within 10 miles. We deliver and pick up storks to and from Hennepin County, Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Chanhassen, Corcoran, Deephaven, Eden Prairie, Edina, Excelsior, Golden Valley, Greenfield, Greenwood, Hanover, Hopkins, Independence, Long Lake, Loretto, Maple Grove, Maple Plain, Medicine Lake, Medina, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Minnetonka Beach, Minnetrista, Mound, New Hope, Orono, Osseo, Plymouth, Richfield, Robbinsdale, Rockford, St. Bonifacius, St. Louis Park, Shorewood, Spring Park, Tonka Bay, Wayzata, Woodland, Carver County, Chanhassen, Carver, Chaska, Cologne, Hamburg, Mayer, New Germany, Norwood Young America, Victoria, Waconia, Watertown.

Q: How much does the new baby stork lawn sign cost? Do you charge any additional fees?

We’d love to help you celebrate the arrival of your little one with our adorable stork signs! You can rent a stork sign for your birth announcement, complete with a personalized bundle that you can keep as a sweet memento for $140. Our base is in Shorewood, and we offer free delivery within 10 miles. For locations 10- 20 miles away, an additional $20 and for 20.1 -30 miles, $25 delivery charge applies. For locations over 30 miles from our base, please call us for a quote. We handle everything, from delivery to set up to pickup, allowing you to focus on enjoying this special time with your new bundle of joy!

Q: How much are sibling/message stars/dog bones and cat signs?

Adding extra charm to your baby announcement is a breeze! Our sibling star signs, message signs, dog bones, or cat signs are available for just $30 each. Personalize them with your own message, and they’ll be left behind as keepsakes at the end of the rental period. We offer these signs in both pink and blue, so everyone can feel included in the fun. Q: What service do you offer for twins, triplets, and quadruplets?

Hey there! If you’re blessed with multiple births, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We offer separate stork signs for each baby. Yes, that’s right! Each bundle carries the details of each precious little one. Contact us to learn more about our special offer for multiple births!

Q: What Signs do you offer for proud grandparents?

Congratulations on becoming a grandparent! We know it’s a special moment, and we want to help you announce it to the world. We offer stork sign rentals for proud grandparents as well, with generic bundles starting at $125 ($105  with purchase of another stork) or personalized bundles for $140 ($120 with purchase of another stork). The storks can be rented for 5 days and will be installed in your yard to share the exciting news with your community. The personalized bundles have the baby’s details and are left behind as keepsakes when we pick up the storks. Contact us to learn more about renting a stork sign for your grandbaby announcement.

Q: Under what circumstances do you cancel an order?

Payment must be made 24 hours before the stork delivery date to avoid order cancellation. We will contact you via phone, text, or email to remind you of the pending payment and make sure everything is in order for your special occasion. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Q: What is your refund policy?

We always strive to fulfill your requests to the best of our ability, but if there are any issues with your order, we’re happy to offer a refund. However, please note that we require a 24-hour notice to fulfill any last-minute requests that weren’t previously discussed at the time of booking.

You’re eligible for a full refund in situations where you cancel your stork sign rental at least 24 hours before the delivery date or extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide a refund in situations where we can’t access a gated community, the security guard at a gated community refuses entry, the homeowner or recipient doesn’t allow us to set up the sign, or there’s a threatening animal preventing access to the property. Your understanding in these situations is highly appreciated, and we always strive to ensure your satisfaction with our service.
