As a Cleveland native turned Minneapolis transplant, I have always loved the family- centered culture and loyalty found in the Midwest. Growing up, family came first, neighbors were like family, traditions were a ritual and accomplishments and milestones both big and small were always celebrated.
After getting pregnant with the help of IVF, my husband and I were showered with an overwhelming amount of love and support from family and friends up until the day we were finally able to bring our son, Greyson, home from the hospital. I will never forget the excitement and pure bliss I felt pulling into our driveway finally ready to take on the world as a family of 4 (fur baby Emma included!). The only thing missing? The adorable vintage inspired 6-ft stork signs I had seen all over the internet which coincidentally enough, my mother-in-law searched high and low to gift us with no luck.
That’s when Lakeside Storks & Co. was born! Knowing now how extremely special the homecoming is after having your new little bundle, I wanted to be able to give families in the Twin Cities a sweet welcome home and tradition of their very own.
